September’s £1,000 donation goes to MYTIME Young Carers

As part of our centenary celebrations, we’re marking 100 years of Charles Trent by giving something back throughout 2026. Each month, we’re donating £1,000 to a different charity or cause, helping support organisations making a genuine difference to people and communities.

For September, we’re incredibly pleased to support MYTIME Young Carers.

MYTIME works to level the playing field for young carers aged 5 to 25 who care for a family member or loved one. Through their work, they help young carers access the opportunities, friendships and support they deserve, while also raising awareness of the challenges that caring responsibilities can create at such a young age.

From opportunities to make memories and spend time with other young carers to support with education, employability, and their wider futures, MYTIME is working to ensure young people aren’t defined or held back by their caring role.

We’re proud that our September £1,000 donation can play a small part in supporting that work.

A huge thank you to everyone at MYTIME for everything you do for young carers, both here in Dorset and across the UK. 💚

A huge congratulations to the members of our team who took on the Bournemouth 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, all in support of our Charity of the Year, Forest Holme Hospice Charity.

Anyone who has trained for an event like this will know that the hard work starts long before you reach the start line. Early mornings, long training runs, tired legs, and plenty of determination have gone into getting there, and we are incredibly proud of every person who represented Charles Trent.

Even more importantly, they did it to raise money and awareness for a charity that means an enormous amount to the Trent family.

Forest Holme Hospice provides specialist care and support to people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families across our local community.

To everyone who ran, donated, supported, and cheered the team on, thank you.

And to our runners, from everyone at Team Trent, a very well-deserved congratulations 💚
