🌱 Algae! 🌱
It’s that time of year when the algae blooms, the hot, dry weather we’ve been having recently has made perfect conditions for it!
🌱 Toxin producing blooms are called Harmful Algal Blooms (HABs)
🌱 In humans, direct skin contact can cause rashes and illnesses if swallowed.
🌱 Not all blue-green algae blooms and scums are toxic, but you can’t tell just by looking at them, so it’s best to assume they are.
🌱 If you’re out and about on water that has algae please ensure that you report the sighting to the Environment Agency either by phone or via the “Bloomin’ Algae” app. Do not enter, drink or swallow the water.
🌱 If like us, you found it when you were already on the water, make sure you shower yourself and your equipment down with freshwater afterwards.

🌊The Aztron Falcon Air 7'6" Board 🌊
🌊We took this amazing bit of kit out for a test run at the weekend.
🌊We used the 5.0M Aztron Wing and it is lightweight and robust, there are multiple grip handles on the leading edge to give a natural hand placement for different wind conditions.
🌊It was fun to get back out foiling and because the board and wing are inflatable, it's really easy to rig, use and then pack away compactly to fit back in boot of the car
🌊We can't wait to get back out on it again!
