Two recoveries in one day.
This one was down to PC Matt .. Of Leicestershire & Rutland Rural Policing Team who was just sneaking around a small woodland down in the Vale of Belvoir. Not really sure what he was really doing in that wood but he was really excited, like a child in a ball pool when he found this Manitou Telehandler or is it a Material Handler or Teleporter? Who knows.
But it hadn't at that time been recorded stolen...
We know it was stolen over the last few days from Gonerby Moor, Grantham and hidden to see if it had a tracker fitted.
IT DIDNT..
Lincs RCAT, Well Sgt Tom, whizzed down from Lincoln. Whilst the old man, headed a little more sedately north to Gainsborough (see earlier post).
Simple security advice has been given. Basically if you hire an item of plant machinery...FIT YOUR OWN TRACKER..
It's the difference between paying a hefty excess or getting it back..
