Anyhoo..

I find after a couple of standard tricks that I have up me sleeve, this is my last attempt after heat etc etc. This particular one was not moving..

If you’re going to drill it you must be so careful as it really is down to a gnats c**k.

Me eyes still sorta work… 🤓

The horse shoe locking device/clip has not been pushed/sat home all the way. This could be dangerous if it works its way off. Make sure this clip has been fully pushed into place and also faces the correct direction, ie the closed end is in the direction of rotation.

What’s wrong….

The little triangular arrow is facing the wrong way for this application. Most front tyres look like the tread is running backwards or in reverse hence some fitters fitting them incorrectly.

Under heavy braking, the weight of the bike transfers forward. The tread pattern is reversed to bite into the road, improve stopping power, and efficiently channel water out from underneath the contact patch when the brakes are applied.

Please check your brake pads.
These can delaminate from heat, corrosion or with age.

One hard brake may remove this pad material then your brake can fail. It is rare to see this but it does happen.

If you’re not sure pop in we can check for you..
