Service Advisor wanted!
A vital liaison between customers and workshop staff, managing the entire service process from booking to vehicle handover. including greeting customers, diagnosing issues based on descriptions, providing repair estimates, scheduling work, and explaining technical repairs to ensure high customer satisfaction.Â
More Key Responsibilities and Roles include:
• Customer Liaison & Service: Acting as the first point of contact, welcoming customers, and interpreting their vehicle issues to technicians.
• Communication & Updates: Keeping customers informed about repair progress, potential delays, and additional required services.
• Administrative Duties: Creating work orders, maintaining accurate service records, processing invoices, and collecting payments.
• Technical Guidance & Sales: Advising customers on maintenance needs and if necessary, promoting additional products/services.
• Workshop Coordination: Managing the daily appointment diary and coordinating with technicians/colleagues to ensure timely, high-quality repairs.Â
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Technical Knowledge: A basic understanding of automotive systems is required to interpret technician advice for customers.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer service, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks, such as scheduling, invoicing, and customer follow-ups simultaneously.
• Experience: Previous experience in a service advisor or automotive customer-facing role is preferred.
