Kicking off another packed week with the first of two Porsches we have booked in this week for paint enhancement and ceramic coating.
Off the back of the Land Rover Defender we did a few weeks ago, we returned to this stunning 1988 Porsche 928 for another paint enhancement and ceramic coating.
The car boasts a rare Strosek bodykit along with wider GTS arches and is an absolute work of art (one of my favourite Porsche models).
We managed to get most of the scratches out of the paintwork (there were a few really deep ones that couldn’t be removed). Overall the car came up brilliantly and the client was over the moon.
After the paint enhancement, the paint really deepened in colour and had to point out his car wasn’t actually black, but a very dark shade of green-much to his surprise!

The weather was just about on our side today and with the help of our awesome Rock Awnings | Pop up gazebo specialist gazebo and some motivational tunes on the headphones the rain was well and truly locked out.
After a thorough paint inspection we found that this 2017 Porsche Macan S had all of its original paint. It was heavily swirled and a bit dull. With a lot of work most of the swirls were removed and the gloss levels improved significantly.
It ended up looking like a completely different car from when it started the day.

They have had a few months break from our Maintenance Plan and a bigger valet was needed to get the cars back on track.

A really good morning at Simply Ford and the weather held up which was a bonus.
Lots of great cars, but not as busy as previous years.
We ended up parked next to a group which included the Bangers & Cash Mk1 Es**rt that had been off the road since 1985 and pick up a sales brochure for my first car!
