Last week we carried out a bit of final preparations for Rob Rice and Jim Bob ready for Kulturschock Car Show

Jim Bob broke our split rim virginity 🤣 it needed a new barrel after the old one was cracked. After stripping and measuring and making sure everything was prepped and built up he was leak free 👍🏼

Rob Rice wanted new exhaust tips, he was hoping just swapping the tips would be something he could do at home but unfortunately that wasn’t the case and a bit too much fab work was required.

Both made it to the show and both had a cracking time, think we might add it to our show list next year!

Join us for our final meet at Skinner Lane.

After 10 amazing years, the time has come for us to move on to bigger and better things — but before we do, we had to celebrate where it all started.

Skinner Lane has been home to countless memories, incredible cars, and an amazing community, so it only feels right to have one last meet before we move locations.

We can’t wait to see all your amazing motors and give Skinner Lane the send-off it deserves.

It’s always a cracking day and they always have a few gems on show as part of the event.

We are taking our merch tent and have a brand new design to show off on the day.

Cars .... we have a weird obsession with them that creates a potential different world to what some of us do from day to day life don’t they?

Creating your dream car makes new friends, creates big holes in your back balance and makes your heart flutter when you finally get it back.

This Golf has been a project that we were handed due to the owner running out of time and self claimed talent. That’s where we stepped in. It’s been a very very long timescale for this car, for lots of different reasons but we have made the car he wanted.

For a car he’s never ever driven he had something in mind from the start. This MK2 golf was originally a 1 litre but had a major upgrade to the MK3 Golf GTI engine with twin Webber carbs.

The seats were removed and replaced with a full set of BMW M4 seats with door cards and surrounds to match.

Suspension and brakes have also been upgraded to cope with the extra power and keep him stuck to the road.

Exterior has had a stunning wrap fitted in the blue colour which looked far better than the original red.

This has been an interesting one for us, with it not really being our project to start with, making the things he really really wanted work, its turned out to be a really nice car.

Looking forward to seeing it over the years to come.
