Happy New Year to all. We haven't posted anything for a while due to our work load so we thought we'd get the ball rolling with a magazine feature in the current issue of Performance Vauxhall Magazine.
They've written a 7 page spread on the Vauxhall Chevette HSR we painted a while back. Congrats to Garry Morgan the owner - a well deserved acknowledgement

We're painting Ginettas again for the new 2016 race season, this car is run and prepared by Gotboost/GBR and driven by Jack Minshaw in association with Demon Tweeks. They really wanted to stand out on the track this year and picked the loudest fluorescent green.

We normally post pictures of vehicles we've painted so we thought this time we'd post some of an up and coming project for the summer. It was built in 1951 and has come all the way from Salt Lake City in Utah. It still has it's orginal Ford flathead V8 but after watching way too many episodes of Sin City Motors and Gas Monkeys we can't decide whether to restore it, hot rod it or rat rod it. What do you think?

This 26ft long xxl Mercedes Sprinter came in with only 21 miles on the clock for a full colour change from white to Ferrari Nero black. It was fitted with a coach built bespoke rear extension, full bodykit and aftermarket front bumper. It is destined to be a limo party bus.

This Renault 5 gt turbo came in for a works tribute paint job. It needed a lot of tlc after a fair amount of abuse as a hill climb car plus the customer wanted a large alteration ie removing the sunroof.
It's sporting the 172 clio turbo engine which makes it quite rapid, the customer intends to carry on using it to compete with. After it leaves here it's going back to Gotboost performance tuning in bridgend to squeeze even more bhp out of it

This Ginetta race car came in to have the front, side and rear painted after being damaged on the race track. When painting a race car paint usage must be kept to a minimum to keep the car as light as possible whilst still trying to maintain a high gloss finish. It is one of three cars run by Got Boost Performance who specialise in making things go faster. It's now going back to them to have the livery put back on and some final tweaks on their rolling road.

We've been working with a bespoke vehicle builder (Lonestar Auto Design) for over a year to help produce a 'Road Yacht' The vehicle is based on a Mercedes Sprinter but as you can see from the photos it could no longer be classed as a van. These are built with custom made seats, wall to wall leather, as many TV's as you want and a full Bose surround sound system all controlled via your smartphone or touch controls.
We were asked to colour code all the dash and interior plastics in a soft feel paint to match the cream leather and to paint all the wood interior items in a high gloss piano black. Attention to detail is a must as these are brand new vehicles aimed at CEO's and celebrities. Prices for these start at £120k

This is another of the models we painted for a student studying at Swansea Met auto design course.
It was aimed at the sports clothing company Puma (hence the colour scheme)
It's designed to run with magnetic wheels and a hybrid engine.
All the models are on display at the new university building in Swansea and I think anyone can drop in, they are well worth a look
