Vehicle Technician Wanted – RPB Motors (Callington, Kelly Bray)

We’re looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our busy and friendly workshop at RPB Motors, Callington (Kelly Bray).

What you’ll be doing:
• Carrying out servicing and repairs on a wide range of vehicles
• Conducting diagnostics to identify and resolve faults
• Working on brakes, clutches, cambelts, and more
• Maintaining our high standards of workmanship and customer service

What we’re looking for:
• Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (essential)
• MOT Tester qualification (desirable, but not essential)
• A strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
• Good diagnostic and problem-solving skills

Did anyone in Kelly Bray see or hear anything at 22.00 last night? We have CCTV of two youths, one in a black hoodie and one in a red hoodie walking from the Swingletree direction and onto our forecourt where they threw a large rock through the window of a sales van and then both ran off back towards Stoke Road. The time on our CCTV was 22.01

Here at RPB Motors we have an excellent job opportunity for the right candidate.

We are looking for someone to join our team at our fully equipped workshop in Kelly Bray.

Monday - Friday 8.00 - 17.00 and one in 4 Saturday mornings.

Previous experience within the motor trade is essential.

As a Vehicle Technician, your duties will include: Working on a vast array of vehicles from high end sports cars to light commercial vehicles - Electrical diagnosis - Mechanical removal and replacing of parts - Problem-solving, root cause analysis etc. - Working well within a small team - Keeping the immediate work area clean and tidy - Meet daily volume targets and quality standards

We are a Bosch Car Service Centre, have numerous maintenance contracts with large fleet companies and are also a TVR Heritage Dealer.

The right candidate needs to be able to undertake all aspects of vehicle servicing, diagnostics, cambelts, clutches, engine repairs and 4 wheel alignment.

Training on specialist equipment will be provided

Uniform will be provided

We offer a very competitive wage package, full details dependant on experience

Successful candidate will initially be on a 3 month probationary period
