A lot has been going on behind the scenes at Cooke Motors .We have invested heavily into new equipment not only the Odis dealer diagnostic tool but also VW Audi group training. We are preparing to be a VW AUDI SKODA SEAT specialist. We will also be keeping up to date with diagnostics and new equipment for all other vehicle makes and models. We are planning to attend an extensive range of courses that range from EV courses to hybrid level 4, We will be completely up to date with all electric vehicles ,to help and support your vehicle.

Salary: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

We are currently looking for a light vehicle technician to join our business based in Plymouth
As a vehicle technician , you would be responsible for reviewing work on customer's vehicles, MOT’s, ordering relevant parts and completing the work to the highest of standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced vehicle technician who is looking to progress their career.

About the role of vehicle technician

Completing MOT’s on customer vehicles
Completing major and minor repairs
Fault finding and fault diagnosis of cars
Electrical testing and repair
Using diagnostic tools to find faults and repair as necessary
Replacement of clutches and cambelts
Replacing parts and completing work where required
Conducting road tests with customers
Light and full service work

To be a vehicle technician

Hold a valid NVQ level 3
Hold a valid MOT licence
Have worked previously to efficiency & productivity targets
Take great care and pride in your work giving no return visits for customers
Have experience in the industry
Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid vehicle
