Here’s another example of a poorly soldered factory joint in a Land Rover discovery sport been in somewhere else first with a battery warning light on dash and had a new alternator fitted but this never rectified the fault we were asked to check it out to find this joint buried in a wiring loom under the abs pump 😬another repair done and all fixed with no more warning lights 🤩

This week one of our jobs we had a challenge of finding a fault with a 2018 Mercedes gla with a intermittent fault with various fault warning lights on dash like tyre pressure malfunction , stability control etc , after a challenging couple of hours we managed to trace down this factory poorly soldered joint in the drivers floor area under carpets , cut out and a nice soldered repair all faults rectified 🤩😎 The amount of electrical items on modern cars can really make our job challenging

Here is a job we recently completed on a 2020 46.000 miles jaguar , it’s an example of happens when oil service is over due , cheap oils or not vehicle specific oil is put in your engine , a build up of carbon causing poor lubrication to the timing chain and tensioner making engine malfunction light appear and a rattle on the engine , we are not scared of getting involved in large jobs in house

Here’s a quick example of why sometimes car repairs seem to add up , here is a 2017 vw scirocco in for a radiator replacement today after customer complaints of coolant loss vehicle pressure tested and leak soon spotted , the manufacturers really don’t make cars easy to work on 😳
