What a busy month January has been for us, from Caravan & Motorhome Services, to a water heater, battery charger and habitation service on a 5th Wheel Caravan, not something that you see everyday.

We also fitted a new door handle and new Whale Motor in there space heater, and a BCA battery Charger.

And to top it off, a Motorhome Clean on a campsite.

Good Morning,

Few little jobs we have done these past few weeks, from extending and adding an electric valve to a motorhome for there Grey Waste, and a camera, so when you now pull up to your drive over grey waste, you don’t even need to get out of the motorhome, a flick of the switch in the cab, and done!

We have also upgraded the rear camera for a customer due to the original camera being a poor quality. We opted for a wireless solar camera, with an excellent picture quality, and you can even leave it on when you are travelling!

We are now fitting Trackers, to your Motorhome, Campervan, or your Caravan for just £120.00 including the tracker! (Does have a monthly fee after the first year) This tracker can be viewed on your smartphone for peace of mind.

What a array of different jobs we have had these past few weeks at Ryedale Caravans,

From Caravan Collections & Delivery to the Customers, to Full Services on Caravans & Habitation Services on Motorhomes, to the dreaded Damp Findings & Repairs.

We have also been asked to fix a Battery Charger on a Nordelettronica Consumer Unit, these were renown for not working when they were new! Due to the age and parts not being available, we retrofitted a Sargent PX310 Unit, using the existing cables to run like it was from the Factory.

We were asked to remove a Bathroom Vent, that was broken and potentially leaking, luckily for this customer the vent wasn’t leaking upon removal. New Vent fitted and looking like new.

Been a Busy few weeks for us at Ryedale Caravans, with a multitude of jobs, ranging from standard Caravan & Campervan Servicing, to Caravan Washes, Oven & Fridge Repairs, Window Re-Sealing and even a Service, Drop Links & ARB Bush repairs on a customers Discovery 3!

Here at Ryedale, we don’t only Repair & Service Caravans & Motorhomes, we can also service trailers and repair your Land Rover.

Yesterday we visited a customer with a Land Rover that had been sat for 9 years, they had tried everything to get it running and within 20 minutes of our arrival, she had sprung into life and resurrected.

Well, what another busy week for Ryedale Caravans, from multiple repair jobs to Services & Valeting and the caravan been put on a Pitch ready for the customer at Westgate Carr Farm Camping & Caravan Park

We have even been asked to Repair & Service a Customers Land Rover at the same time as their Caravan!

Good evening

Hope everyone is enjoying the nice hot weather!

Well what a busy few weeks we have had, we have had multiple temporary wiring repairs due to customers electrics that have been dragging on the road, battery supply and changes, Gas & Electric Tests in Campervans, Caravans & Motorhomes, Fridge/Freezer Repairs, new Al-Ko Stabiliser supply and fitment and many more!

We are also proud to announce following our assessment on the 18th June, we are now an AWS approved Servicer & Repairer!

Good Morning,

We had the pleasure of repairing this lovely Swift Charisma this week, customer had come on there holiday to Westgate Carr Farm Camping & Caravan Park, our base & workshop, and mentioned that their toilet flush was not working, after some diagnostics and testing power we concluded that the toilet pump was at fault

After the new pump had arrived we went and fitted it to the Caravan and re-fitted it into its original position. Tested the pump and as good new.

Good Morning,

We had the pleasure of repairing this lovely Bailey Pursuit at the weekend, customer had come on there holiday to Westgate Carr Farm Camping & Caravan Park, our base & workshop, and had unfortunately left there cable dangling on the road.

A quick temporary repair of the wires re-taped up and waterproofed and the customer was ready to go again.

What a lovely sunny morning in North Yorkshire this morning!

It is coming to that time of year again when we all decide to get away and enjoy the British Summer.

Thinking of having your caravan/motorhome serviced, damp checked or just a mechanical service?

Thankfully we can help, I have been around caravans and motorhomes for the past 26 years, and helping my family run our own caravan site in the picturesque Pickering for the past 13 years and ultimately decided to become a Caravan/Motorhome Service Engineer and knowledgable Mechanical skills.

I am now pleased to say that I am now an Accredited Caravan and Motorhome Service Engineer under the National Caravan Council
