Stunning conversion completed in Cambridge. This garage was transformed into a self contained studio. This will generate a healthy income for the client. A great return on investment.
Case study: many ups and downs on this one. Firstly, we were not aware that there was a super strong reinforced concrete slab which had to be removed. This caused huge delays as it had to be dug out by operatives, no space for a digger. Lesson learnt? Always check what is below the slab, do not always assume there is standard construction.
As things progressed, the repercussions of the delays caused my concrete caused more delays. We were always quick to rectify the problems. This caused a major loss to our pocket as the delays and concrete were not accounted for in our estimate. Nevertheless we stuck to our guns and made sure the project completed injecting our own funds to make it happen. It was decorated by the client.
We preach honesty and integrity in our company, and we believe reputation is the most important thing. We may have made a loss but we did gain a wonderful addition to our portfolio.
