When a car warranty not worth the paper it written on. I don’t know any workshops in the UK they are £50 an hour including VAT. Her warranty company left her with a shortfall of almost £900. I’m glad we were able to help her stay within her budget. It’s nice to be appreciated and I thank you for the gifts.

RANT!!!! Makes me so angry!!!

Vehicle warranty companies. Always willing to take your money, not so willing to honour a claim. I spend hours taking pictures making videos filling in online forms. had a Email asking me to take a video of a car that I examined on the 15th of this month. It’s took them 2 days to contact me about a noisy front wheel bearing. As if I’m going to leave the vehicle stripped on my ramp waiting for their response. Either you cover a noisy wheel bearing or you don’t. They email on the 17/11. Good morning in order for us to process your claim please provide exact cause of a failure clear video demonstrating that failure.
I now refuse to deal with some aftermarket warranty companies. They take up so much of my time, only offering to pay £50 an hour including VAT and most of the warranty is not worth the paper it’s written on.
The only companies I would recommend is AA, RAC And a company called MBI Auto Gaurd.
No poncing about with online forms speak to an individual tell them the problems and within an hour or so you have an answer yes it’s covered, No it’s not.
 Just recently I had a vehicle with a seized duel mass flywheel bearing. Normally when these flywheels wear out they suffer excessive play at the bearing and start to knock. The bearing on this flywheel had seized this cannot be attributed to normal wear and tear it’s a failure, warrant company, claimed denied.
If you’re buying a new vehicle that comes with a warranty, make sure you know what you’re paying for always read the small print.

Thank you again for all your messages, flowers and cards after the sudden passing of my beautiful Mum, Karen Dilustro ˚͜˚

The funeral will be at Bretton Crematorium, Peterborough. Thursday 16th October at 11:30. After the service there will be a celebration of life at The Fleet on Fletton High Street.

All who wish to say goodbye are welcome.

Please come dressed in whatever colour you like. Mum was a bright and colourful person so would be lovely to see everyone in colour.

We will be arranging for a donation to be made to the Royal Osteoporosis Society in memory of Mum should you wish to give at the service.

To Friends and Customers of Franks Autos.

We have had a big loss in Franks family. Frank's amazing, beautiful wife, my Mother Karen passed away suddenly on Wednesday.

As expected, we are all heartbroken.

Thank you so much for your lovely messages we have read them all.

Thank you also for your patience at the moment.

The team at the garage - Aaron, Brian, Mark, Will, Riley, Angela and Michelle are working their hardest to make sure that your vehicles are well looked after.

I'm sure my Dad being the man we all know and love he will be back in action very soon but while this is all so raw and fresh he may be taking some time off here and there.

Also, thank you very much to Euro Car Parts for the beautiful flowers.

Feeling the strain already

Dear staff at Franks Autos,

Thank you very much for repairing the coil spring and front brakes, and completing the MOT on Mondeo NC06URF. It was crucial to get the car into a roadworthy condition after storage, and it drove beautifully back to Wi******er in Hampshire. Thank you for doing all this at short notice with great care and attention, and for the extras (key fob battery etc).
