🔥 **BMW M4 G82 – Testing Our Custom Equal-Length Valved Exhaust!** 🔥

We've been busy experimenting with **three different exhaust setups on my personal BMW M4**, and this is our latest creation — an **equal-length valved exhaust system!** 🔧🔥

Firstly, just look at the design of this thing! 😍

The difference over the factory exhaust is **night and day**. It sounds absolutely mega throughout the entire rev range, with **no motorway drone whatsoever** — something we've found can be an issue with single midpipe setups on these cars.

For me, this equal-length system strikes a brilliant balance.

🔊 **Valves open:** A fantastic exhaust note without being ridiculously ASBO loud.

🤫 **Valves closed:** Almost OEM levels of quiet, perfect for everyday driving.

The only thing I'd personally change? I'd like it just that little bit louder when giving it full throttle!

So, the next experiment is to pair this equal-length midsection with my **titanium valved backbox** and see how that combination sounds. 👀

Another stunning Bentley Continental GT through the doors at EcoMax Tuning, and what a result! 😍

🔥 Sometimes, You’ve Got to Go Old School! 🔥

This Transporter came to us for an emissions-related fix, but it had already been tuned elsewhere and was producing strong results, backed up by a dyno printout. There was no point in replacing a perfectly good tune, so instead, we needed to build on it.

This EDC17CP20 ECU requires boot programming to access the ECU memory, which meant removing the ECU covers and placing a boot pin onto the circuit board, as shown in the pictures.

For newer tuners, this process may seem unfamiliar, but this is how VAG and BMW tuning was done for vehicles newer than 2009. As you can imagine, we were opening up plenty of ECUs before modern advances in tuning software made the process easier.

Another great result on our dyno! 📈

Jamie's 2023 VW T-Roc 2.0 TSI came in for a **custom Stage 1 ECU remap and TCU gearbox tune**, delivering some impressive gains with absolutely no hardware modifications!

Once unlocked, we were able to carry out our custom ECU and TCU tuning, with the performance gains measured and verified on our in-house 4WD dyno.
