Mercedes CLA45 AMG (2017) — Misfire Mystery Solved

This one came in barely drivable — a serious misfire but no fault codes, no engine light, nothing showing in diagnostics.

After checking the live data, I found the injectors weren’t working correctly even though the ECU showed no errors.
I carried out some tests to confirm the issue, sourced a fresh set of injectors, and got them fitted.

Now the AMG is running smooth again and the customer’s back on the road with a big smile 😎

It's important to remember that just because your brakes might look fine from the outside doesn't necessarily mean they're in good condition. A recent customer came in complaining of squealing brakes. Although the brake pads still had plenty of life left in them, the worn brake discs caused the back of the brake pad to catch, resulting in the squealing noise.
