and . Two currently overused and misapplied words. Skill cannot be taught; it is acquired through regular practice of method and technique for a particular task. Craftsmanship is about seeking the best method and technique to achieve a high standard of finish in the least time using minimal effort. A good experienced craftsperson will seem like a magician because they will make a task appear effortless and complete it in a comparatively short time to a high standard. Good ensures that methods are clearly understood and that techniques are practised well. This is the beginning of a path to becoming a skilled craftsperson, there are no shortcuts!

Back support needed for this! The largest panel I would ever want to wheel without assistance.

Some things are ordained! 50 years ago, almost to the day, my father was given a job from Billy Woodside that enabled him to start his own business. Billy, with his brothers, ran a transport company in Northern Ireland. Dad was even flown out there to view Billy's car collection. I am here today at Morgan Cars because of that meeting that took place half a century ago!

12 Years ago we sat down to watch another Olympic opening ceremony to witness the results of three months of hard physical work. Our own Olympic effort to produce 312 hand made copper forms. Three sets of 204 different shaped petals; one a test set that were eventually used in the Museum of London's exhibition about the 2012 Cauldron, one for the Olympic games and one for the Paralympic games.
