BMW 320i M Sport on the dyno after unlocking the factory ECU for tuning.

Power increased from:
182bhp โ†’ 255bhp

Torque increased from:
308Nm โ†’ 388Nm

These newer ECUs have to be unlocked before tuning can begin.

This 2022 BMW 320i had to have the ECU removed and sent abroad for unlocking before calibration could even begin.

Once it came back, it went onto our dyno for a proper Stage 1 setup.

182bhp โ†’ 255bhp
308Nm โ†’ 388Nm

Thatโ€™s a 36% increase in power and a 26% increase in torque.

But more importantly, look at how early the torque comes in and how well it carries through the mid range.
