Our Story
As a qualified engineer moving into the role of driving instructor & entrepreneur. I intend to pass skills on to others so that they may benefit from the 'university of life' that I have experienced. I passed my ADI exam in 1977 and have passed regular DVSA standard tests for ADI’s for over 40 years.
In 1977 I started the Birmingham School of Motoring which grew into a multi car school of motoring and became a driving instructor training Academy. The driving school was sold to the British School of Motoring in 1985. I moved to Scotland in 1986 and founded the Scottish Driving School in Perth.
Having created the 'Learning Made Easy' method for students I feel that the learning experience should be continuous throughout life. Learning is not something that you can forget about after leaving school or university. A persons journey through life is one of continuous learning. Passing a driving test is relatively straight forward once you grasp the basic concept (latest test results for 2019 show that 80% of students who train with us pass their test first time with no driving errors. Our overall pass rate is 89% (November 2019).
We specialise in the teaching of learner drivers who are nervous or suffer from anxiety. Our training methods are based on the needs of the individual.
Providing intensive driving courses since 2007 we have seen a massive improvement in learner drivers quality of driving. These courses have been a clear factor in raising the pass rate for tests.
