Unlock the shine. Lock in the protection. ✨

We have completed a full paintwork correction to this black 2017 BMW X3.

After a pre wash and shampoo, clay bar to remove any remaining contamination,
A stage 3 machine polish was completed followed by a refining polish to provide the stunning finish. Machine polishing actually removes all protection on the vehicle so to complete the process the protection must be restored add back to the exterior paintwork. Following a hand polish with Autoglym Super Resin Polish, Ultra High Definition Wax was applied to give a brilliant shine with six months further protection.

Look at the shine on the exterior paintwork. And what peace of mind knowing that this will have protection during our Winter months. Lock in with a Regency Valeting & Detailing valet! 🚘💦✨

How times change!

This week in our weekend workshop we find out what is under the bonnet of an electric car? 🤔

It’s very different! Amongst important components like the electric motor, inverter & on-board charger this BMW iX3 has integrated a factory-fitted 58-litre "frunk" (front boot space). It is made from recycled marine plastic and is completely waterproof. How cool is this!

Paint pop! 🫟✨

We had this beautiful 2023 Land Rover Discovery in the workshop for a full valet and paint correction.
When completing paint correction we permanently remove surface imperfections such as swirl marks, fine scratches, oxidation, rub marks and water spots from a vehicle’s clear coat with the use of various machine polishers.
This particular vehicle required a Stage 3 machine to cut away the blemishes followed by a refining polish. Machine polishing removes any protection from the clear coat, we replaced this using Autoglym Super Resin Polish.
Paintwork correction is an important part of a detailer’s skill set as not only does it restore the glossy showroom shine but it protects the paintwork in many ways from bird droppings to UV rays, repelling water and dirt along with maintaining the value of your vehicle.
