At Oval 4x4 we pride ourselves at being hands on, some say almost like a family and we couldn’t agree more. That said, we have some sad news to share. Lawrence who is Scott our directors dad and Sam our new service advisors grandad passed away on the 15th of February. Lawrence was an avid fan of what Craig and Scott started some 2.5 years ago and was proud to see it grow. He enjoyed a visit to the garage for a cuppa and a chat with all the guys, he will be sorely missed. We have taken steps to close the business on the 11th for the day as a mark of respect to Lawrence and it allows the team to focus on the day. Emails and calls will not be responded to till the 12th of March when we return. We hope all our customers understand.

As we look forward to washing the workshop down, giving the courtesy car fleet a well deserved scrub we would like to wish all our customers, staff and business partners a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We have endured 12 months of non stop Land Rover and Jaguar fun and all they throw at us. We have had a rocky year with Craig’s high speed accident at Peebles show, Scott and his broken toe and Gareth who had come out of the office and jumped into a pair of overalls to support in the workshop when the boys were under powered. It is only fitting the team go home, relax and dedicate some time to their families. The business will close early on Christmas Eve and will be closed through till the 5th of January. If our customers require support on a vehicle concern we ask them to send an email to [email protected] and we will respond in due course.
