We are looking to recruit an Office Administrator to work in our expanding business.
The successful candidate will be required to input and allocate work into our transport system along with creating job cards for our busy workshop and carry out daily invoicing.
The position is full time Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, but will be on a 3 month probationary basis.
Salary will depend on age and experience.

Job Description:
D. Pickering ltd is a HGV repair agent who undertakes all aspects of HGV Repair and maintenance. We specialise in car transporter repair and maintenance and our main customer base is in this industry. We have 2 service vans on the road 24/7 which you will have an opportunity to be placed onto an on call rota if you would like. You will be supplied with a full uniform and 3 x pairs of overalls.

Your job role will include:
*6 Weekly inspections
*MOT Preparations
*Diagnose and rectification of running repairs
*Use of Jal Test (scope to learn)
*Minor electrics (lights, etc.)
*Car transporter repair
*Brake relines
*General maintenance to HGVs & trailers

Requirements:
*Minimum 1 year experience in HGV repair
*Qualifications in HGV repair
*HGV license is preferred but not essential
*Knowledge in DVSA specifications is preferred but not essential
*An up to date C.V
*At least one reference

Working hours & Salary:
We work a 3 week rotating shift system which involves working 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am-13pm.
Week 1: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 18:00pm Saturday off.
Week 2: Monday – Friday 07:00 – 17:00pm Saturday off.
Week 3: Monday – Friday 08:00 – 17:00pm Saturday 08:00am – 13:00pm.
Overtime: Paid at time and a half
