This VW came in looking tired in all the usual places - hinges starting to rot, arches bubbling, and wear showing from years of use. These vans work hard, and if you don’t deal with this stuff properly, it only gets worse.

We stripped it back, cut out what needed cut out, treated it properly and rebuilt it the right way. No quick patches, no hiding rust, just solid repair work and a clean finish that’ll last.

This is the kind of job we do day in, day out. Cars, vans, work vehicles - if it’s worth fixing, we’ll fix it properly.

This Porsche came in with damage to the front bumper and wing that needed put right properly - not hidden, not rushed, and not patched up.

This one’s a good example of how quickly everyday marks can add up. A few scrapes along the doors, damage around the rear arch and a handle that had taken a hit -nothing major on its own, but together it let the whole side of the car down.

Once it’s cleaned up and put right, you’re reminded how much difference a proper repair makes. Panels back straight, paint brought back in, and everything sitting as it should again.

We see this sort of damage all the time. Cars are used every day, things happen, and that’s what we’re here for.

This Mini came in looking like it had a rough week. Rear corner pushed in, a cracked light and the bumper was out of shape.

It’s easy to ignore this stuff or live with it, but once it’s sorted properly you realise just how much difference it makes to the whole car. Everything straightened up, parts replaced where needed and finished so it all ties back in again.

We don’t overcomplicate things here. If it’s damaged, we fix it properly and send it back out the door looking right.

Another Honda Jazz sorted and back on the road. It came in with rear bumper damage, nothing dramatic to look at, but the kind of thing that still needs to be done properly if you want the car right again.

We see plenty of these day in, day out. The key is not cutting corners and not rushing it just to get it out the door. Take the time, do it once, and send it away looking as it should.

We’re back open and back to it after the New Year break 👍

The workshop is now fully open and running as normal, and it’s straight back into a busy start to the year.

From all of us here at Linwood Coachworks Body Shop, we’d just like to say a big thank you to all our customers, suppliers, and everyone who’s supported us throughout the year. It really is appreciated.

We’d like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year and hope you get some well-earned time off with family and friends.

The workshop will now be closed for the holidays and will reopen on Monday 5th January.

Another repair in the workshop this week – this Audi came in with fairly heavy damage down the rear quarter and door. All sorted now and back looking the way it should.

A lot of folk ask how we deal with damage like this, so it’s worth mentioning: modern panels aren’t as simple as “just knock it out and paint it.” There’s wiring, sensors, safety structures and plastics that all need to be handled properly. That’s why we follow the same repair standards you’d get from the manufacturer – it keeps the finish right and, more importantly, keeps the car safe.

We’ve been doing this a long time at Linwood Coachworks, and if there’s one thing we know, it’s that every car is different. We take our time, repair it properly, and make sure it leaves here looking like it’s never been damaged.
