Guinness World Records title for the longest motorcycle journey ever belongs to Argentine adventurer Emilio Scotto, who rode 457,000 miles (735,000 km) across 214 countries and territories.

The Epic Journey

Duration: 10 years, 2 months, and 19 days (January 17, 1985 – April 2, 1995).
The Motorcycle: A 1980 Honda Gold Wing GL1100 nicknamed the "Black Princess".
The Route: Two complete circumnavigations of the globe, crossing six continents.

By the Numbers:

Fuel and Maintenance: Used 12,500 gallons of gasoline, 86 tires, and 12 batteries.
Paperwork: Filled 11 passports.
Hardships: Survived civil unrest, imprisonment six times, two gunshot incidents, and multiple collisions with animals.
