A brilliant result for Henry today in Exeter, securing his driving licence with a first-time pass! 🚗💨

The biggest breakthrough wasn’t just his driving — it was learning to stop telling himself off for every tiny mistake.

Once he stopped beating himself up over the minor stuff, his confidence came through and he absolutely flew through the test. 💪

A great reminder that you don’t need to drive perfectly — you need to stay calm, recognise what’s happened, and move on.

🚗🛞 Today’s driving lesson was a little more eventful than planned!

After picking up a screw in the tyre, we had no choice but to pull over and change the wheel. Not something that’s on the driving test, but it’s one of those real-life situations every driver could face.

A huge well done to Brooke, who got stuck in and learned how to safely change a wheel. 💪 It’s not every lesson you end up with an unexpected roadside skills session!

Sometimes the best lessons are the ones you never planned. 😄🤦‍♂️

Don’t get caught out when booking your test!
Make sure to follow the rules and avoid having your test cancelled!

Booking your driving test? Make sure you’re doing it the right way. ✅

Since 12 May, it has been against the law for anyone but the learner driver to book a driving test. Using unofficial apps, bots or automated tools also breaks the terms and conditions of our booking service.

We've already cancelled 450 tests where tests have been booked outside the new rules – and we're continuing to monitor activity closely. 💪

If misuse of the booking system is identified, we can cancel your booking and suspend your ability to manage your test online.

Our priority is to make the system fair for every learner and to stop you being exploited by third parties. The only way to book and manage a test is through GOV.UK. 💻

Massive congratulations to Owen on passing his driving test in Exeter today! 🚗✅

A proper test in every sense — nearly an hour out due to traffic, plus some horrific rain for about 5 minutes 🌧️ — but he kept it together brilliantly and got the result.

A good bit of rugby chat with the examiner also helped keep the nerves settled along the way 🏉😂
