Hello everyone

We understand it’s been a long time since anything has been posted on our social media, so here’s a quick update. We’ve now relocated premises just around the corner from our previous building, into a lovely and very professional unit.

We’ve had a small transitional period where we’ve had to take down, move all of our equipment including the spray booth and then set everything up again. We’re not fully finished as of yet but the workshop is now open for business and the cars just keep on coming!

To book an appointment please call 01691 661888, our new address can be found via our website or the ‘About’ section on the page.

We will be posting regularly again now to continue showing the ongoing work in the workshop.

Some of the exciting things happening this week in the workshop include....

Some wonderful fabrication by James for a BMW M535i, these brackets have been re-made in order to hold the replacement wings onto the car.

And secondly this is a block from a Hillman Minx thats in for a full restoration. Korrey has been going through each and every part of the engine and today was the turn of the engine block for paint.

We're very proud to present this beautiful 1938 Singer Bantam 9 De-Luxe, this car is now available for sale through Oswestry Classic Cars. The Singer registrar believe this to be 1 of only 3 currently left on UK roads, making this car one of the last remaining survivors of the De-Luxe model.

This car was first sold at Erddig Motors of Wrexham as the original sticker still clearly states on dashboard, the car has remained within the local area throughout its life having enjoyed the many wonderful roads on offer throughout the years.

Due to the revision for model year 1938 this De-luxe sports a charming 1074cc in-line 4 cylinder engine with a stated output of 30bhp. To cope with this engine upgrade the suspension and chassis were strengthened and the brakes were converted to a cable system. A 3 speed gearbox is mated to the engine and has synchromesh on third gear allowing a claimed speed of around 60mph.

This De-Luxe was set apart by having more luxurious extras than its standard counterpart. A sliding sunroof was fitted instead of a fixed panel in the roof, leather seats, chrome bumpers and rear luggage rack.

This car is being sold on behalf of a client through Oswestry Classic Cars and viewing is strictly by appointment only due to the current coronavirus measures set in place.
