Dave Pester Driving School

🥳🚗 Congratulations, Leo! 🚗🥳

A fantastic second-attempt pass today, Tuesday 13th October, at Sidcup Driving Test Centre! 👏

Leo was a great pupil who came to me with some pretty good driving skills and a solid understanding of how to drive. We just needed to work on his confidence and belief in himself.

It hasn't always been easy, with Leo going back and forth to university and his first driving test being cancelled on the day. But today, we finally had all the planets aligned! 🪐✨

Leo went out there and showed the examiner exactly what he was capable of. A great drive and a great result! 💪

Leo, you should be really proud of yourself. You've put in the work, built your confidence and got the result you deserved. Enjoy the freedom that comes with being a new driver! 🚘🎉

Congratulations, Leo! You've done it! 🙌

Benedict’s Review

“I honestly don’t think you could ask for a better instructor.”

Benedict chose Dave Pester Driving School after being recommended Dave by an AI assistant, but what really stood out was the quick response, availability for intensive lessons, and willingness to take the test at Tunbridge Wells.

He found learning to drive much less stressful than expected and particularly enjoyed Dave’s practical, hands-on teaching style.

“We got straight into the driving. I really enjoyed that. It made the lessons much more fun, and it worked too, because I became confident and competent pretty quickly.”

Benedict also highlighted the freedom and independence that passing his test has given him, particularly being able to drive himself to work and play the organ without relying on public transport or other people.

His advice to anyone thinking about learning to drive?
“Go for it and don't overthink it.”

And his final verdict says it all:

“If you're thinking about learning to drive and you can get lessons with Dave Pester, you absolutely should. There's no need to look anywhere else.”

Thank you Benedict for such a fantastic review, and congratulations again on passing your test! 🚗👏

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS BENEDICT! 🎉

A fantastic result today, Friday 2nd October, as Benedict passed his driving test at Tunbridge Wells! 🚗💨

This was Benedict’s second attempt, and getting to this point certainly wasn’t straightforward!

Tunbridge Wells is a different test centre to all of my regular centres, so on the first test we were a little bit clueless to some of the local pitfalls. Benedict was caught out by the changes in speed restrictions around the area, along with some signs that were very well hidden!

We booked another test for 8am, meaning a 6am start from home. We arrived at the test centre ready to go, only to be told that the examiner had to leave due to an emergency.

NO TEST! 😫

So, today it was fingers crossed that there would be no more issues!

Another 6am pick-up, a quick practice around the area and then test time at 8am.

This time… NO ISSUES! 🙌

Benedict put in a great drive and came away with a well-deserved pass! 🥳👏

Congratulations Benedict — you stuck with it, overcame the setbacks and got the result you deserved.

🎉 CONGRATULATIONS KATIE! 🎉

What a fantastic result! 🚗💨

FIRST-TIME PASS — just 3 faults! 👏👏

📅 Tuesday 29th September
📍 West Wickham Test Centre

Katie first started learning to drive a couple of years ago and, although she picked it up really well, she decided she had too much going on at the time to concentrate on learning and give it the commitment it needed.

Then, in April this year, after passing her theory test, Katie got back in touch with a “nothing’s going to stop me now” attitude! 💪

Fast forward just 5 months and what a difference!

Today Katie put in an amazing drive, picked up just 3 faults, and walked away with a first-time pass! 🥳

Even better, Katie already has her own car and is now a full licence holder! 🚘

I’m going to miss the laughs, Katie! 😂

Have fun, enjoy your new freedom and, most importantly, stay safe out there.

Happy driving! 🚗💨

🏆 Congratulations Katie — the Dave Pester Driving School 42nd pass of 2026!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Learner Review 🚗💨

Another fantastic review from one of my learners! 🙌

“I chose Dave Pester Driving School as Dave was highly recommended to me by a friend.

Learning to drive wasn’t as nerve-wracking as I had expected it to be. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons.

Dave is a very calm person and I think this helped me greatly in learning to drive. I would recommend Dave to my friends as I think his patience and his calmness would put the most nervous of drivers at ease.

Being able to drive means everything to me and brings so much more independence. I’m looking forward to driving to work.

I would advise anyone thinking about taking up driving lessons to just do it! It might not be as hard as you think! It also brings a huge sense of achievement when you pass.

I would give Dave’s teaching 5 stars! Thanks Dave, I enjoyed my lessons.”

Thank you so much for the lovely words! 🙏

It was an absolute pleasure helping you learn to drive, and I’m so pleased you enjoyed your lessons. That feeling of independence when you finally pass is what it’s all about! 🚗❤️

Now it’s time to enjoy driving to work and all the freedom that comes with having your licence! 🎉

Well done and safe driving! 👏

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ANOTHER FANTASTIC REVIEW! 🚗👏

“I chose Dave Pester Driving School because of the good reviews, especially the comments about creating a calm and relaxed learning environment.

Learning to drive was definitely more challenging than I expected, especially initially, but with the right guidance and regular practice, I became much more confident than I thought I would.

I found Dave’s teaching methods really good. The lessons were relaxed, calm and to the point. Dave never made a big deal out of minor mistakes, which helped me stay calm and learn without feeling under pressure.

I’d 100% recommend Dave Pester Driving School to anyone looking to learn. The calm teaching style and supportive environment made a big difference to my confidence.

Being able to drive means freedom and independence. It’s great knowing that I can now get around without having to rely on public transport or someone else.

I haven’t decided where I’m going to drive to first, but I’m really excited to start exploring and going on little trips on the wheels!

My advice to anyone thinking about learning to drive is simple — stop thinking about it and just do it! It’s an important life skill, and once you get started, you’ll wonder why you waited.”

Thank you so much for the fantastic review and for choosing Dave Pester Driving School.

It’s great to know that the calm and relaxed approach helped build your confidence.

Now it’s time to enjoy that freedom and independence! 🚗💨👏

🚗🎉 CONGRATULATIONS THOMAS! 🎉🚗

FIRST-TIME PASS! 🥳👏

A massive congratulations to Thomas, who passed his driving test today, Wednesday 16th September, at Bromley Test Centre — with just ONE fault! 👏🔥

To say Thomas was nervous would be an understatement! 😬

Thomas could always drive amazingly well, but when the pressure built up, sometimes things would go wrong.

Today was different.

The test came, and Thomas did an amazing job of keeping himself focused, calm and composed. 💪

Sometimes examiners get a bad reputation, but Thomas will be the first to tell you just how amazing his examiner was at helping him stay calm throughout the test. 👏

Thomas, you have shown today that you CAN do it.

Now believe in yourself — because you are officially a fully qualified driver! 🚗💨

Well done Thomas! 🥳👏

Georgina’s Review

I found Dave Pester Driving School through a Google search. Dave was the first to respond to my enquiry and, after looking through his website, I felt confident that he was someone I wanted to learn with.

Learning to drive was slightly different to what I expected. I didn’t realise just how many things there were to remember during those first few lessons! Figuring out the clutch took some getting used to, but once I got it, I got it!

Dave’s teaching methods were very good. He stayed calm even when I was making some ridiculous mistakes and really helped to build my confidence on the road.

I would definitely recommend Dave Pester Driving School to my friends. Dave’s demeanour is fantastic — calm and collected when teaching new topics, but also great to have a laugh with. That made the whole experience much more enjoyable.

The first word that comes to mind when I think about being able to drive is freedom. Since passing my test, I don’t think I’ve had a day where I haven’t driven somewhere. It makes life so much easier!

The first place I drove to after passing? I drove my mum home! 😂

My advice to anyone thinking about learning to drive is not to worry if the first few lessons feel like information overload. You’re trying to remember how to change gear, use the clutch, check your mirrors and steer, all while trying to actually move the car forwards!

But it is so, so worth it. Driving is a life skill, and one day it just clicks. Before you know it, you’ll be passing your driving test and enjoying the freedom that comes with it.

As for what could have been done better… N/A! 😊
