Tom's Motors Chadderton, a leading automotive service provider in Chadderton, is seeking a skilled and reliable Recovery Truck Driver to join our team! If you hold a Class 2 Licence and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
✅ Safely and efficiently operate a recovery truck to transport vehicles to and from designated locations.
✅ Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their vehicle recovery needs.
✅ Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the recovery truck to ensure it is in proper working condition.
✅ Secure vehicles properly on the recovery truck using appropriate equipment and techniques.
✅ Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the recovery truck.
✅ Maintain accurate records of vehicle pick-ups and drop-offs
✅ Communicate effectively with the dispatch team and provide updates on job progress.
✅ Follow company policies and procedures to ensure the safety of yourself, customers, and vehicles.

Requirements:
🚛 Hold a minimum valid Class 2 Licence.
🔧 Previous experience as a recovery truck driver or similar role is preferred but training will be given
🚦 Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record.
🤝 Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
⚙️ Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
💬 Good communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
🔧 Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and the ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments is a plus.
⏰ Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.

Hi everyone,
Yesterday, there was an accident outside Tom's Motors where a young boy was struck by a car. Some of our team at Tom’s Motors witnessed the incident and did our best to help until emergency services arrived.

We’ve been thinking about him ever since and just wanted to check in to make sure he and his family are doing okay. If anyone in the community knows how he’s doing, please reach out or let his family know we’re wishing him a speedy recovery.
