Do you have plenty of time remaining on your MOT?
Just because you have a valid MOT, your vehicle can still be unroadworthy and dangerous to drive!
Driving an unroadworthy vehicle is illegal, so its important to regularly check your:
π Tyre tread and condition: the minimum legal tread depth is 1.6mm, check for cuts, bulges, or exposed wires and replace the tyre if you find any
π‘ Lights: to make sure they're all working
π§οΈ Wipers: test your wipers regularly to make sure they clear water from your windscreen
π Brakes: if the pedal feels spongey or slack, get your vehicle checked by mechanic as soon as possible
It is your responsibility to make sure your vehicle is safe to drive before starting the engine.
