It was certainly a cold start this morning, which also marked the official start of Autumn!

Overnight we saw temperatures as low as 4 degrees Celsius!

As the nights are drawing in and we have lower temperatures, your car battery will take on extra demands.

Car batteries have a limited lifespan, typically 3 to 7 years. If your battery is old, it's more likely to be failing.

Signs of a failing car battery include a slow or no engine crank, frequent jump-starts, dim lights, malfunctioning electrical accessories, the battery warning light on the dashboard.

A rapid clicking noise when you turn the key may suggest the battery isn't providing enough power for the starter motor to engage.

Mot tester

Due to a highly valued member of our team retiring we are looking to recruit a
qualified vehicle MOT Tester.

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 17:30pm 1/2 hour paid overtime (time and
half) each day and we also have availability to work Saturday mornings (paid at
time and half if you so wish, we are more than flexible)

2 x 15 minute paid breaks in addition to half an hour lunch break.

Strictly NO agencies please

Salary: From £13.00 per hour

Due to a highly valued member of our team retiring we are looking to recruit a qualified vehicle MOT Tester. Working in a friendly team for a local family owned business on a full time permanent basis based on the outskirts of Okehampton. (Exbourne)

On offer is an extremely competitive salary package (salary depending on experience, 28 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, staff discount on MOTs servicing and parts. We are currently recruiting for a car body repair technician. Working in a friendly team for a local family owned business on a full time or part-time permanent basis based on the outskirts of Okehampton. (Exbourne)

We have recently increased our staffing levels due to increased demand but we are now aiming to recruit another member to join the bodyshop team as we have now increased capacity due to the expansion of our premises and workload.

We currently have a full schedule of body repairs booked in and we are keen to accept further work with the correct level of manpower which due to an extension to our premises we now have capacity for an additional member of the Bodyshop team.

If you have experience in vehicle stripping, repair and preparation we are keen to hear from you.
