Check out this stunning bus we spotted at the peoples aircooled show!

The owners shared the incredible story behind its restoration, and it’s pure dedication!👇

- The Journey: Imported from California in 2011, the current owners took over in 2012.

- The "One-Year" Plan: What started as a quick one-year layup in 2019 for minor rust evolved into a massive, bare-metal strip-down. That "one year" ended up taking nearly seven years of evenings and weekends in the workshop!

- Paint & Patina: After rocking the "rat look" for 10 years with only 40% of the original paint left, they treated it to a beautiful, full re-paint in its correct, original shade of blue.

- Factory Philosophy: Their goal was preservation over perfection, bringing this 1958 Binz truck back to exactly how it left the factory, even keeping original production quirks like visible welds and factory lead splashes.

A massive shoutout to the owners for keeping this piece of air-cooled history alive! 🙌

Straight from Arizona! This is a genuine, ultra-rare US-built Sundial conversion. It is a true piece of West Coast VW history. Same passionate owner since 2009.

Due to strict administrative quirks, the French Federation of Vintage Vehicles refuses to recognise this Split because it's a Panel on the M-plate. This means it cannot be registered in France. However, all European customs clearance fees (846a) are fully paid! It is officially recognised and ready to be registered in any other European country (currently registered in England).
