After a nice week off back to it now and back with a bang, Tom Shaw making light work of his test smashing it FIRST TIME and with ONLY ONE FAULT.
A brilliant effort from Tom today and a big thanks to Toms parents for all the practice in his car.

Another cracking FIRST TIME PASS today, this time it was Marissa Tomenson smashing her test with ONLY FOUR FAULTS.
No practice at home possible for Marissa so it all with me and thankful I did a good job (if I say so myself!!) but today was all about Marissa and she did a fantastic job.
Congratulations Marissa on a well deserved pass.

Brilliant FIRST TIME PASS today for Milly Birchall, Milly wouldn’t mind me saying that driving didn’t come naturally to her and the steering wheel at times was almost alien. But Milly pushed through and with some great practice with mum & dad (thank you both so much) she has become a competent and safe driver.
Congratulations Milly you should be very proud of yourself, a very well deserved pass.

I first met Liam Dalby when he’d not long been born when I was teaching his oldest brother, the next time we met was on his 17th and safe say he wasn’t a little one in his mum’s arms anymore!!
Liam absolutely aced his test today PASSING FIRST TIME & with ONLY ONE FAULT.
A brilliant effort from someone who wasn’t sure a couple of weeks ago if he was capable to pass, well Liam believe it now as you’re on your own.
Massive thanks to Liam’s family for all their support with practicing.
So thats 5 Palmer/Dalby brothers and Liam’s Nan all passed with me, I guess I’ll have to wait for grandkids now.

Toady was my last test of the summer season and it was a good one.
Immi Bouch breezing her test FIRST TIME and with ZERO FAULTS, always great to hear an examiner have nothing to say apart from perfect drive.
A big thank you to Immi’s mum & dad for all the practice and bringing Immi into Oakham.

I met Evie Coburns mum 25yrs ago when I first moved up here and we both worked at Stapleford Park, fast forward 25 years and now I’m teaching her daughter to drive, showing how time flies and it’s a small world.
Evie, did her mum & dad proud by smashing her test this morning PASSING FIRST TIME and with ONLY ONE FAULT. A brilliant effort from Evie who was pretty natural from her first lesson, definitely aided from all the practice at home with mum & dad.

Second test of the day and as you can see by the smile on Lily Pickworths face it was a good one. This was Lily’s 2nd test but first with me and she absolutely smashed it PASSING with ONLY TWO FAULTS.
A brilliant effort from someone that suffered from a distinct lack of confidence in her driving but actually had no reason as Lily’s driving was a decent standard it just needed a little belief.
Well today Lily found that belief and drove to her standard and got the result she very much deserved.
Thank you to Lily’s mum & sister for the practice, that definitely helped.

No trains on this test eh Ben!! Ben Braddock smashing it this morning 2nd time PASSING with ONLY three faults.
Anyone that knows Ben knows that everything is done with enthusiasm and a smile on his face and learning to drive was no different. He’s been a brilliant student and helped massively by both his parents, thanks you to them.
Enjoy the rest of the summer matey.

Early start again this week, today was Amy Hutchinson who started her learning journey with quite low confidence but of late has come on leaps & bounds and today was a result of that transformation. Amy PASSED FIRST TIME and with ONLY ONE FAULT.
Big congratulations to Amy and her parents for all their support.
Hopefully see you motoring around soon.

After my first test is was a quick turnaround for the second. This time it was Chloe Bell who absolutely smashed it and shocked herself when she heard that not only had she PASSED FIRST TIME but she got ZERO FAULTS. Even more impressive was that the examiner said she had a lot to deal with and it was on a brand new route. Great effort Chloe, big thank you to Chloe’s parents for all the practice.
