So pleased today for Ashley, we've spent quite a long time working together to get this moment. Being one of my earliest learners and after taking a year out for her expanding family we celebrated today with a second time pass with just 5 minors.

Another first time pass 🥳🎉🥳🎉

I think Ruben is far too laid back to have a proper sibling rivalry going on but I have sneaky feeling he's going to be lording it over other family members with his first time pass with just 2 minor faults when learning to drive gets brought up at family events.

Having put his test back a few weeks, Ruben is a great example of how working together as ADI's to put the right person in the right test slot at the right time is in everyones best interests. Despite recent changes to test bookings we will still be doing the best for our pupils, working together to ensure we are doing the right things to keep them and everyone else safe on the roads. One of the good things about this job is that when we achieve success it can have a meaningful effect on the lives of the people we work with and it's great to be a part of that.

Waiting for your driving test is really rubbish sometimes, all you can do is wait patiently and take your opportunity when it comes.

This is exactly what Charlotte here had to do and she has been rewarded with a first time pass with only 3 minors.

Congratulations for this fantastic result, thanks for having me tag along, enjoy telling family and friends and take care out there on the road.

'4 Score and 7 years ago'

The start to Lincolns Gettysburg address sounds a lot like my relationship with Jacquie, first speaking on the phone in 2024 to discuss working together and then life gets in the way (or a little bundle of joy).

When we did finally meet we built on up the great work she had done with her partner to get her ready for life on the road and today we finished that job with a first time pass and 6 minors.

The benefits of getting lots of experience outside of structure lessons with an ADI are on show here.

We are a resource, there are not yet any rules that tell you how you have to use us.

Nellie here started with me as a novice driver, learned the core skills needed to be safe driving her own car with family supporting her. Coming back to me to ask questions, polish skills and get her ready for her test.

The result - A second time Pass with just 2 minor faults

4 is the number of the day for Amy here, not a first time pass but the right time pass and just 4 minors shows how you have grown into the driver we knew you could be.

Its the almost never going to happen planning we encourage all the time. On this one a car either creates a new or goes over a pothole and it causes serious damage to there wheel that could have resulted in a much more significant problem for all of us on the road at the time.

Some lessons to be learned about always leaving a safe braking distance including when planning a lane change but also the importance of keeping calm in an emergency.

ANOTHER FIRST TIME PASS

This is almost the first time I get to see what Dominic here looks like only ever really seeing him when it's dark, it was basically still dark when he started the test.

What we can see is that he's a winner passing first time with an excellent 4 minor faults. A great result and an easy journey getting you to this point (who knows why you left it so long)

Start the year as you mean to go on and Faith here has done that in style with a second time pass and 7 minors

I can honestly say nobody else has had me talking about more non driving related things than you have, its definitely been an individual journey for us both and we've learned to be a responsible driver whilst maintaining your unique 'Faithness'
