Now then, with the world going mad for EVs, Hybrids, self drive cars, it’s very easy to get caught up in this theory that a car is just a way to get from A-B in the most economical, and relaxing way, stress free with every gadget and up to date tech available.

The fact is, that there are plenty of people out there that still buy a car based on driver enjoyment. This is a car that demonstrates that very well, and is perhaps a little under the radar.
All the ingredients are there, 2.0 turbo petrol engine. Ample levels of torque, superb chassis balance, very responsive, short wheelbase, beautiful short shift, manual gearbox.
Couple that to the Audi engineering, build quality, reliability, comfort, and the fact this is no nonsense 2.0 turbo with a timing chain, unlike the belts that need to be changed every 5 miles, or the wetbelt concerns, or battery degradation, tech failing, make this a really nice place to be.
It’s a standard spec. Which I enjoy.
There are not 26 buttons on the steering wheel, there isn’t a 15 year old sat nav, there isn’t a beep on a b**g very 2 seconds. In fact it’s there just to do what it’s meant to do. Look good, go quickly, last a lifetime, and bring smiles in pretty much any driving situation.

This sport really is as clean as it looks. It’s had no visible paint repairs, no cosmetic issues at all. The interior is lovely. An excellent example. Just 2 previous keepers and 10 recorded services!
The only work needed would be the wheels to be refurbished, but we are offering to do that in any colour for the new keeper. We have just fitted a new clutch. A full MOT is to be provided.
