🚗 Ford Fiesta 1.0 EcoBoost – Wet Belt Service

Wet belts can be a bit of a lottery when it comes to what condition the engine will be in once we get into it 🔧

Most of the time, we find they’re in dire need of servicing, with worn belts, oil deposits and blocked oil strainers.

We were pleasantly surprised to see that this engine was in excellent condition, with the belts still having plenty of life left, the oil still golden and the oil strainer completely free from deposits.

It also meant the job came apart nice and easily, with nothing seized or heavily gunked up 👍

🚗 Vauxhall Mokka – TPMS Fault 🔧

This Mokka came in with two faulty tyre pressure monitoring sensors (TPMS), showing two flat tyres on the dashboard despite both tyres clearly holding the correct pressures.

To replace the sensors we needed to use a tyre fitting machine to partially remove the tyres from the rims to gain access. 🔧

✅ TPMS sensors fitted
✅ Tyres re-inflated
✅ Tyre pressures checked
✅ New TPMS sensors activated
✅ Diagnostic protocol used to pair the sensors with the vehicle
✅ Fault warnings cleared

No more flat tyre warnings on fully inflated tyres! 😅

Another fault diagnosed, repaired and confirmed working properly before heading back on the road 🚗💨
