Full dayco timing kit aswell as the updated cam pulley from Ford ( same engine different badge … ) and yes no tipex Timmy here , crank locked at the flywheel 😅

-timing belts on 1.5dci K9Ks ,
-Mazda bongo diesel timing belt and waterpump ,
-Ford kuga power shift gearbox,
-Nissan nivara d40 tank strap repair.
-Mercedes SLK 7Gtronic gearbox service
-Timing cover replacement on an old 2.4TDDi transit camper
- 6 speed DSG ( mk7 golf GTD ) replacement after something grenading itself inside ( see screwdriver photo with metal stuck on magnet from oil pump drive casing 😬)

Transit custom 2.2tdci , after being a few garages including a Ford specialist.. smoking on start up and generally running abit crap. After already having the parts cannon fired at it …. turbo/ DPF and supposedly injectors … I’ll leave the photos todo the talking on that one 😬

Initial inspection was excessive crank case pressure ( kept blowing the oil cap off ) , normally means a cracked piston on these but ran smooth enough for us to suspect bad injector seals and a failed PCV valve due to the latter. ( injectors sit partially under the rocker cover on these engines )

Everything removed , injector ports cleaned and seats cleaned up, new fire washers and stretch bolts , full new cam cover ( PCV valve included ) and now fires up with little to no smoke and no excessive crank case pressure.

Those original ( we assume ) injector seals have seen better days …

Super busy few weeks here at ADR, plenty of belts/ chains and other not so nice jobs done ( we don’t mind the crap jobs ...

Super busy few weeks here at ADR, plenty of belts/ chains and other not so nice jobs done ( we don’t mind the crap jobs 😅)

First up fiat 500X 1.0 3cylinder in for a timing chain at a very low millage (60-70k ) 2018.

Full dealer timing chain kit and brake vacuum pump ( was leaking oil bad ). Not the cheapest box of parts either 😳

As seen from the photos , someone dodged a bigger bill here with the timing miles out , lucky to not have damaged the ‘ multi air ‘ unit.

More ecoblue 2.0 wetbelts done, we do both genuine and dayco oe kits ( genuine covers and sump pans… after market covers...

More ecoblue 2.0 wetbelts done, we do both genuine and dayco oe kits ( genuine covers and sump pans… after market covers are hit and miss if they’re bent out the box or not )

£1250 all in with a full service

> Timing belt and tensioner + new bolt
> oil pump belt
> new oil pickup pipe
> sump pan and timing cover with new engine mount bolts , degas bolt ( if fitted )
> crank pulley bolt
> both aux drive belts ( waterpump belt / alternator drive belt )
>water pump ( we recommend every second belt interval if no signs of leaking before)
> fresh antifreeze

>genuine service parts or purflux service parts air filter oil filter liqui moly engine oil -Ford FD 2.0L , ecoB for 1.0L , 5w/30 for PSA 1.2puretec all wetbelt grade not cheap oil !!!
fleet vehicles we do are on 10k intervals and timing belts still look perfect even after 60k replacement intervals !!cabin filter - carbon active for AC or standard NON AC fuel filter

We also can do additives by liqui moly ,
Most of the time we do -

-Diesel purge fuel treatment ( straight into fuel filter - cleans fuel systems and injectors
-DPF protect into tank- lowers regen temps to clean dpfs efficiently
-Adblue anti crystal - keeps adblue effective and not clogging adblu injectors up.
- MS02 oil additive , friction reducer and maintainer , COMPELTELY WETBELT SAFE !!
- liqui moly oil flush - reduces deposits in the engine lubrication system , COMPLETELY WETBELT SAFE !!

** more info on liqui moly products on their website, we wouldn’t use them on wetbelt engines if they wasn’t 100% guarantied safe and not causing wetbelts to degrade **

Full timing kit , aux pulleys/ tensions and alternator over run pulley, new clean header tank ( OCD went a tad far lol ) , waterpump,
And a service.

These vans in this fleet we look after are all get up in the miles now and 10k service intervals are making a massive difference to reliability !!!!

Two levels of belt changes with us ,

Routine - full kit/ both aux belts and a full service

Major- all the above + waterpump and aux belt pulleys and tensioners/ coolant header tank.
( recommended when up in the miles or 2nd/3rd belt change )

Skyactive Mazda 2.2 diesel in for lack of power and high emissions, this one already had been else where and had the usuall injector seal washer upgrade… we knew from experience that the inlet system would be caked full of carbon.

Thorough dig out of carbon , walnut blast of the intake ports and in the hot wash for the inlet/ EGR cooler… back up and running , breathing properly with next to no smoke from the exhaust 😁👍

Walnut blasting of the intake ports is just one of the many things we carry out here at ADR
