This one is a keeper! That beautiful cam gear whine 😍
Purchased back in august last year this one has had some restoration work to get it right.
Upgraded the charging system with the MOSFET FH020AA regulator

Well it’s been a busy time but finally managed to get the old Zx6r finally finished and tested!

Kawasaki ZX6-R F2 1995
Picked up this project back in April and have been chipping away at it in my spare time since. Was in quite a state! Had to rebuild all the rear subframe to take the fibreglass seat unit.
Has nissin calipers from a 929/954 fireblade.
Later model 5.5” rim ‘J’ rear wheel as opposed to the stock 5”
‘J’ model rear shock
Higher capacity oil cooler with braided lines
Photos of when it arrived to its current state.
Electrical work, lots of little jobs and paint left to finish.

A finished winter project!
Honda CBR600RR5 with a Valentino Rossi tribute ‘Austin Powers’ paint job. The iconic livery used for Valencia 2003 and his last race for Honda
Powder coated swingarm in satin black to match the frame
Powder coated wheels
New swingarm, wheel and linkage bearings
New brake lines and pads
New chain and sprockets
Two brothers exhaust
FGR bikes tail tidy
Fully serviced with all fresh fluids and filters
Finished off with a full FGR bikes valet

The standard oil cooler fitted to the 2nd generation does the job but soon looks tired and suffers badly from corrosion and inevitably leaks!
Treated this one to a Mocal 10 row 115mm cooler, an6 braided lines and the classic red/blue fittings
The perfect upgrade 👍🏼
