2016 Ford focus in for a diagnostic session,

The initial issue was loss of coolant but no evidence of leaking on the floor. Previously stated by another garage as a possible headgasket fault we carried out a coolant pressure test and found the EGR cooler leaking and the oil cooler also leaking.

This customer noticed a higher oil consumption than usual, aswell as the exhaust smoking on start up, this 2.2 transit was leaking oil into the cylinder via the injector seals.
Now replaced, the engine is running as it should!

During the routine service we noticed this vehicle still had the original silica bag fitted in the coolant reservoir, After advising the customer on faults that these cause we removed it from the coolant system and carried out a coolant flush, for us itā€™s not about the repair of the vehicle but the preventative maintenance reducing the chance of faults or breakdown!

2018 Audi Q5 in for Diagnosis today!

This customer has been in to a well known autocenter and has had the glow plugs replaced to attempt to repair a glow plug fault on the dash, almost immediately the fault returned during the vehicles next cold start, after checking the wiring and testing the glow plug control relay we have renewed the relay and now everything is working as it should!
