DVSA have released a guide to booking a driving test - when dates are released (24 weeks ahead) and how to use the system.

An overview is if you want to book ahead the dates are released at 6am each Monday.

If you want an earlier date, these are not released each Monday and can become available throughout the day. Logging in at 6am on Mondays will only add to the queue.
