WHAT A TIP

Does anyone else struggle to keep on top of their work van ?

What a client doesn’t see !

Two weeks of back to back work, 800 miles travelled and quite a few dining while driving to jobs had left the van in quite a mess.

A good few hours this morning restoring it to some sort of respectable standard !

Cleaning the cab ✅
Decluttering the rubbish✅
Restocking the van ✅
Washing and dressing ✅
Cleaning the equipment ✅
Making some running repairs and topping up the screen wash ✅

One of our regulars.

Treated to a Carey’s complete valet on this occasion to include -
Snow foam
Deep clean plus wax to exterior
Wheel protection
Full interior valet including leather protection and carpet shampoo.
As well as our regular mini valets we also recommend clients have this service 1-2 times a year, topping up on the wax and also feeding the leather and dealing with any interior stains 👍
Client sent me a text after to say

“It looks better than when I had it new”

This is the kind of service we love to offer, and gives the client the experience of keeping their pride and joy like new.

Another busy week for us.

Highlight for me has to be this stunning brand new defender - check out the colour, really is stunning.
Treated to paint protection, leather and carpet protection something that we do to all of this clients cars as soon as they arrived. I actually think the protection was booked prior to even collecting the car 💪
It is amazing to be trusted with vehicles like this and I look forward to valeting it on a monthly basis 👍

PROUD !

I’ve got to say this has been the hardest winter we have ever had. The unrelenting weather has proved to be an actual nightmare at times. We have never in 21 years of business known the weather to be this wet.

January started with -4 conditions and since then I can only recall yesterday as the only day it hasn’t rained, in nearly two months.
At times I’ve not even wanted to leave the house let alone spend 6-7 hours outside in the cold and wet. Most days I’ve come home absolutely drenched and very miserable.

Yesterday was incredible - the weather was great and I managed a paint protection to this Range Rover for a client we’ve known over 15 years.
I’m proud that despite the weather we’ve kept at it. We’ve tried so hard this winter to put a smile on, think positively and grind out decent days and sales to keep our little business going !
We would just like to as always thank our amazing customers for their unwavering support, kind comments and hot drinks !

Onwards to spring ❤️ 🧼

A FUNNY STORY 👍

Had a client in repton Derby for a good 6/7 years. Started out on a complete valet, and then monthly cleans after. Time passed and one of her kids passed his test, so that got added to the monthly cleans. She bought a new car and of course had the ceramic protection etc etc.
anyhow last summer she says
“I’ve sold the house I’m moving”
“Oh, I said, where are you moving to ?”
“Stafford she says !”
“Oh right I say”
So I then start thinking, I’ve really enjoyed coming here and you start thinking about when you met, not been able to see her reg plate in the dentist carpark and how you’ve really enjoyed chats about family over the years.
Any how a couple more visits go by and she’s packing up. She’s giving me the last dates that she’s in repton.
I say
“Well it’s been great seeing you, and start wishing her well for the future.
She stops me and says
“Oh no, you don’t get off that easy Tom, it’s taken me years to find you and I want you to come to Stafford still to clean the cars !!!!”

“Erm ok, where is the new house ?”
“Stafford, she says, it’s an hour from here”
“Erm ok, well I can come if I do full valets each time and maybe we go abit longer between cleans to keep costs sensible”
“Done” she says.
So once every 6/7 weeks I’m in Stafford. It really makes the job worthwhile especially in the winter months when you have people who think that much of you and the service you provide.
Oh and as a side note, her new place is very near this retro 1980’s joint ! I couldn’t quite believe my eyes when I saw it 👍
Stopped in today for a strawberry shake - decent and only £4, plus a real actual straw !
