🔧 DHL Van – Engine Replacement 🔧

Looks like this DHL van was expecting a slightly bigger delivery than usual… a new engine. 📦😅

The old one had reached the end of the road, so it was out with the old and in with the replacement. A big job to get this hard-working van back where it belongs.

Hopefully the next thing it delivers is a parcel, not another engine. 👀🚐

🚗 Bank Holiday Update 🔧

Just a quick heads-up that both our Northampton and Kettering sites will be closed on Monday 31st August for the Bank Holiday.

⚠️ Peugeot 208 – Preventative Wet Belt Replacement ⚠️

A slightly different wet belt job this time. This 2018 Peugeot 208 non-turbo came in for a preventative wet belt replacement, rather than waiting for the problems to start.

Unlike some of the wet belts we’ve shown recently, where the oil pickup has been heavily or completely blocked, this one was caught much earlier. There was still some contamination, but thankfully nowhere near as severe. 👀

A great example of why preventative maintenance matters. Catching the belt deterioration early can help avoid oil starvation and potentially serious engine damage further down the line. ✅

Caught early, replaced and back on the road before it became a much bigger problem.

🐾 Supporting Animals In Need Northamptonshire ❤️

Here at In Town Automotive, we’re proud to continue supporting Animals in Need and the amazing work they do to give animals a second chance.

This time, we’re getting behind Toff, a little Kokoni who had a tough start to life on the streets of Romania before being rescued.

Now living a much happier life, Toff has developed a love for aviation and flying ✈️🐶 and even has her own Instagram page documenting her adventures!

Toff is currently helping to raise money for a full air conditioning unit for Animals in Need’s veterinary theatre, helping to keep the space at a safer, more comfortable temperature during the warmer weather.
