Hi friends!
A bit of a late post (from October😅) but nonetheless this has been one of my most proudest achievements. Our Nancy here, has not just passed her test but passed it going over some mentally and physically challenging hurdles, the main one being that she did it in her own car- little Dee Dee WITHOUT power steering, ABS and traction control!
Our time spent together were some of my most challenging working through anxiety inducing situations, different vehicles, different towns and building in to a lasting friendship through being car enthusiasts.
That, all culminated in to what you see in this picture. As I walked up to hear the result and she had been told the magical words, “Congratulations, you’ve passed!” I will never forget that look of sheer joy, excitement, disbelief, relief sprinkled with trembling, adrenaline and amounts of happy tears.
When you teach someone to drive it’s a life skill, as such you begin understanding parts of your students lives to help them pass better and above all drive safely.
