Why is servicing your dampers so important? 🔧

Like any moving part, shock absorbers wear over time. The oil, seals and internal components can all deteriorate, which means the damper may not be performing the way it should.

A damper that looks fine from the outside can still have lost a lot of its performance.

Regular servicing helps keep the damping consistent, catches worn parts and makes sure your suspension is doing its job properly.

This is especially important on performance and motorsport cars, where small changes in damping can make a big difference to how the car feels and handles.

Good suspension starts with well-maintained dampers.

Yesterday, members of our AVO and Engineering team visited Triad Motorsport in Milton Keynes to capture vehicle data using our new 3D scanning equipment.
This new capability supports our AVO suspension development work by allowing us to capture detailed vehicle geometry, including suspension and wheel arch areas, before parts are manufactured.
By working from accurate digital scan data, we can assess clearances, mounting points and packaging more effectively, helping to improve fitment, reduce development time and give greater confidence in the final design.
It is another step in modernising how we develop and validate AVO suspension solutions.
