1.5 hrs £52 highly recommended as this is a good time for learning with out Learn to drive the fastest and quickest way with Automatic instructor. You will have: More confidence - no stalling or rolling back on hills
Less distraction - no clutch or gear lever to coordinate
More time to concentrate on controlling the vehicle
More time to develop judgement of speed and steering
More time to concentrate on reading the road

🚙 🚗 TO ALL NEW DRIVERS:- ... and some experienced ones too ……….

🛑 Clear your car thoroughly NOT JUST THE FRONT SCREEN..... headlights, brake lights, all windows and the bulk of snow off the roof... or that lump of snow from the roof makes a wonderful “black out” blind on your front screen when you brake!

🛑 Leave extra time for your journey.
🛑 Mobile phone in glove compartment (charger too)

🛑 Ensure you have plenty of screen wash.
🚙🚗 WHEN PULLING AWAY :-.....

🛑 Accelerate gently, use low revs.

🛑 Move off in second gear as this will help reduce wheel slipping.

🛑 Get your speed right and maintain safe stopping distances between you and the car in front, leaving as much as 10 times the normal recommended gap
🛑 Use a low gear for going downhill and try to avoid braking unless necessary, make sure you leave plenty of space between you and the car in front
🛑When approaching a bend, off that gas early, drop gear to help reduce the speed. Soft steering.
🛑 If you do encounter a skid, steer gently into it! DONT OVER STEER (OR YOU’LL BE THE NEXT CONTESTANT ON “DANCING ON ICE” )😳
🛑 Keep your speed down and allow more time to stop and steer.
🛑Finally if you dont need to go out! Stay home in the warm... it’ll all be gone in no time!

Fancy looking at a day in the life of a driving instructor?

Here goes......

We get abuse for being in the correct lanes.

We get abuse for sticking to the speed limits.

We get abuse for slowing down because it says so on the road.

We get abuse for pulling up outside your house.

We get abuse because the driver didn’t set off quickly enough.

We get abuse for stalling.

We get abuse for not tailgating the car in front.

We even get abuse for not blocking junctions and not going into a box junction (when we should legally stay out because the exit is blocked).

We get abuse when you kindly let a learner out but they don’t react as quickly as you would like them to.

Please don't beep your horn, it really won't speed us up.

Until we teach one of your family to drive then for a short time the abuse stops, but only for a short time.

We're asked not to use a person's car to practice parallel parking, but when we enquire where the person practiced their parallel when learning they reply “a car at the side of the road - but that doesn't mean you can use mine !!!!!”.

We have all had to learn to drive, it’s funny how quickly we forget what it’s like.

We forget what it’s like to approach the first roundabout, the first parallel park, the first crossroads.

Please have a thought for us and our students - it could be your son, daughter, niece, nephew. We can’t use a class room and trust me we don’t like holding you up anymore than you do!
