We are looking for a fully trained vehicle technician. No Weekend working.
Our Service Department houses a small, but highly efficient team, which punches well above its weight. Since taking over the business in 2012, has seen a 65% increase in levels of Retail business.
As an operation, by choice we deal purely in the sale of used vehicles and as such are not dominated or influenced by a franchise. On that basis, we repair and maintain all manner (& brands) of used vehicles making for an interesting and varied workload.
You must be a qualified Vehicle Technician with a formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent qualification).
Our workshop equipment is brand new, including two poster ramps, air conditioning machines (both gas types) & the very latest of diagnostic machines.
Front of house, reception is managed by the Service Manager. In turn, this shields the technicians from the production of any paperwork, the ordering of parts and (in the main) any customer interaction.
Operating hours are: - 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday Closed Sat & Sun
As part of a small team, we DO NOT operate a time saved bonus scheme. Instead, you will be paid a fixed salary (based on experience) paid monthly, directly into the bank.
