Here are my 3 simple rules when applying ceramic coatings at HYDRO.ne. 👌
1. Get everything ready before opening the bottle. Clean towels, applicators, panel wipe and the manufacturer’s instructions—all within reach. Coatings don’t wait while you hunt for another towel! 😮‍💨
2. Don’t skip the panel wipe process . Remove polishing oils and residue before applying the coating. A clean finish is one thing—a properly prepared surface is another.
3. Respect the curing time. Follow the coating manufacturer’s instructions for keeping it dry, sheltered and when it can first be washed. There’s no universal 24–48-hour rule, and being ready for water doesn’t necessarily mean being ready for a wash.
