Anyone looking for a fully forged 2.5 TFSI for a RS3, TTRS or a big power conversion??

My customer Cameron has had to pull the plug on his project unfortunately. The engine is fully assembled and has ARP studs holding it together. He also has the following bolt-on's as well:

Storm Developments Precision 7675 Gen 2 turbo kit
1000hp+ brushless Low pressure Fuel Pump
1000hp core Intercooler
Dq500 DEKA DCT HD1100 clutch
Dq500 DEKA flywheel insert
TIJ Power inlet manifold for additional injectors
Engine Oil catch can

As you can tell, it had the makings of an absolute monster!

Nearly 6 months since I last posted about any engine based activity - time flies when you're flat out 😬.

Anyhow, since January I've done way more than I can remember, fortunately I record every job, and the list is way longer than I expected!!

6 x Zetec Turbo variants
2 x Zetec Nat Asp

I handed this build over on Saturday evening.....Ben Gibbs now putting his Focus Estate to the test (running it in??😅) at 28psi. Wheelspin stopped the fun, but this is a real 600+ contender 💪

Every day is a school day! I've never had to do valve clearances on a Subaru EJ motor (not my bread n butter normally), but today i discovered one of those details that the inexperienced could have overlooked - using supertech valves and retainers, i spotted some of the valve tips were a touch lower than the collet tops, meaning that the cam follower was pushing on them before the valve tip. I suspect they probably have the wrong collets, but we engineered a solution to sort it cos the job had to be finished today 😊
