Customer Review...Julia Nowacka.

“I chose Achieve as they were very local to me and I did my research on the school and liked what I found. At the beginning I did make mistakes and needed help from Kevin. This made me realise that learning to drive requires a lot of concentration and practise and yet over time I started to feel more comfortable and confident which made me improve. The teaching methods used were very helpful. Kevin explained things clearly and we dealt with matters step by step which made it easier to understand my goals. If I made a mistake he was very calm and patient with me and this helped me feel less nervous. I would definitely recommend Kevin because I had a very positive experience. Apart from being friendly and professionsl, he gave excellent feedback when I needed it and this allowed my confidence to grow after each lesson. I think others would benefit from his teaching.”

Customer Review...Kane Taylor-Townend

“I chose Achieve as they were recommended to me by my family.For me, learning to drive was not as bad as it seemed and I found little tips like lowering exterior mirrors when reversing to be particularly useful.Kevin’s teaching methods were brill and I would recommend him to anyone as he was always patient.I enjoyed every minute.However maybe the next training car should have a normal handbrake as not every car has an electronic one.”

Krystal gets it done First time..

Congratulations go to Krystal Li from Featherstone who passed her Driving Test today (8th April) at Pontefract/Castleford DTC.
In doing so, Krystal becomes our 7th Test Pass (out of 8) this year.

Kaine makes no mistake this time.

After mis interpreting a SatNav instruction and getting himself in the wrong lane at a Roundabout on his last Driving Test, Kaine Taylor-Townend from Pontefract made no such mistake this time to record an excellent Driving Test pass today (12th March) at Pontefract/Castleford DTC.

A fabulous drive by Julia Nowacka from Normanton resulted in another First Time Pass for us today at Pontefract/Castleford DTC.

I chose Achieve because of the good online reviews and affordable prices.For me learning to drive was so much easier than I anticipated.Kevin's teaching methods were really good as he was patient but would also explain in a way that was understandable when I didnt quite get something.I would recommend him as I had a great driving experience which made my driving so much more enjoyable."

Jayden makes it 4 out of 4.

What a drive by Jayden Beecroft from Castleford who achieved a First time Driving Test pass today (2nd February) at Castleford/Pontefract DTC.
In doing so, Jay made it 4 Tests and 4 passes for us this year and the result was particularly impressive as he achieved his pass without making a single fault.
Never in doubt in my mind.

Albert makes it 3rd time lucky.

Nobody deserves to pass their Driving Test more than Albert Robbins from Ackworth who achieved a first time pass today (23rd January) at Pontefract/Castleford DTC.
Having had his 2 previous Tests cancelled due to icy roads, Albert was able to undergo todays Test and in passing he became our 2nd first time pass of the day.

Chevi becomes our 1st pass of 2026.

After a couple of frosty cancellations this week, Chevi Arthurs from Kirkthorpe becomes our first Driving Test pass of 2026 when he passed today (16th January) at Pontefract/Castleford DTC.
It was especially impressive as in doing so, Chevi was able to achieve a first time pass.
