It is a family run business established in 1969 by Oliver Davies. Originally based in the village of Parcllyn, Ceredigion, the business began by selling and servicing used cars, and soon developed into a renowned and expanding motor trade business throughout the West of Wales. We are a Quality Used Car Sales Centre, HONDA Approved Service Outlet, MG, Renault and Dacia Servicing Specialists and are able to service most Manufacturers Vehicles. We also fit tyres, conduct MOTs, Valeting and Minor Paint Repairs.
1986 was a momentous year for O.C Davies, as the business became a recognised Renault dealer. As the business, still based in Parcllyn, expanded 1994 saw a new site secured for O.C Davies a’r Mab in the village of Penparc. For 15 years O.C Davies a’r Mab was a Renault dealer selling new Renault cars and an array of used vehicles. But in 2000/1 an opportunity of adding another franchise to the business presented itself. 2001 saw the addition of a Honda franchise to the business, resulting in the build of a new showroom alongside the Renault showroom and petrol station on site in Penparc. The local Town Mayor officially opened the new showroom in March 2002. The Group has further expanded into Neyland in 2008 with Honda Servicing and Sales (supplied from our Pen Parc Dealership along with Renault and Dacia) - This has led to more quality part exchanges coming into Group and this led to the opening in 2014 of the Roundabout Used Car Centre. O.C Davies a’r Mab is run by a father & son team – Oliver and Morlais Davies, and still very much remains the family run business it originally was when established. Despite an expanding business over the years, O.C Davies a’r Mab prides itself on a friendly and personal service, and customer care is at the top of our priority list.
