Due to continued growth we are seeking 2 experienced or newly qualified HGV Mechanics for our workshop based in Newtownabbey area.
Working Monday - Friday
Alternate early/late shift
Week 1 Mon – Fri 7am – 3pm
Week 2 Mon – Thurs 2pm-10pm and Friday 2pm – 8pm (paid until 10pm)
Starting salary is negotiable depending on experience. There will also be the opportunity of overtime.

The key roles and duties are:
• Undertake all planned preventative maintenance activities to achieve VOSA standards and legal compliance ready for external PSV inspections.
• Maintain and develop parts stock and ensure housekeeping and organisational excellence
Essential requirements
• Have an industry recognised qualification, either City & Guilds or NVQ level 3
• Full knowledge of the VOSA standards for HGV's and certification
• Driven to ensure highest standard of repair & service
• Ability to communicate clearly - both verbally and written
• Able to use IT to maintain records effectively
Desirable requirements
• Class 1 or 2 Driving licence would be beneficial.
