1994 Honda NSX in for a full custom audio & multimedia upgrade.

With no off-the-shelf fitting kit available, we custom fabricated the stereo facia to house a Kenwood 8021DABS, finished in OEM-style polyurethane paint.

The factory Bose system was replaced with Helix i7 coaxials, Helix i5 rear fill, a custom-fitted Vibe 8” subwoofer in the original kickwell location, and a Match UP 4DSP for full time alignment and digital EQ.

A rare car, upgraded properly while keeping the original character.

This 2014 Nissan Qashqai came in with a completely dead factory stereo. The customer wanted a clean, OEM-style replacement while retaining everyday functionality.

We fitted a Kenwood DPX3000BT, giving the vehicle modern features including:

✅ USB connectivity

✅ Variable colour illumination

2022 Citroën Dispatch – Custom Audio & Camera Upgrade 🔧

This 2022 Citroën Dispatch came to us for a complete multimedia and camera upgrade. With the factory touchscreen system, there are very few off-the-shelf solutions available, so we developed a custom installation using a bespoke wiring harness.

We fitted a Kenwood DMX-F920DABS 9” floating display, retaining all key factory functions including:
✅ Steering wheel controls
✅ Parking sensor integration
✅ OEM functionality retention

The upgrade now provides:
📱 Wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto
📻 DAB Radio
🔌 USB Connectivity
🎥 HDMI Input

As this is a trades vehicle with a fixed bulkhead, rear visibility was a priority. We installed a high-level brake light camera and integrated it into a custom rear-view mirror monitor, providing a permanent live rear view while driving.

This Hyundai i10 travelled all the way from West Wales for a multimedia upgrade.

We fitted the excellent Kenwood DMX7525DABS, featuring a crisp HD display along with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, bringing modern connectivity to the vehicle while retaining full integration with all factory features.

For added peace of mind, we also installed a Thinkware F790 Pro Dash Camera, providing reliable recording and enhanced security on every journey.

Kenwood DMX80ASX upgrade completed on this VW T6.1, giving the vehicle a huge improvement in both multimedia and everyday usability.

We opted for the 9-inch floating screen setup featuring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing seamless smartphone integration without the need for cables. The system is fully integrated with the factory features including steering wheel controls and vehicle settings, keeping the OEM look and functionality throughout.

To finish the install, we also added a reverse camera giving a clear high-definition rear view when manoeuvring and parking. A clean OEM+ style upgrade that completely modernises the interior while keeping everything functioning exactly as it should.

2013 Porsche 911 in for a full audio & multimedia upgrade. Customer travelled all the way across Cardiff after being told by multiple audio shops to “just change the stereo” — but true SQ sound needs much more than that.

Originally equipped with the factory Bose system, the client wanted a proper sound stage with clarity, depth and balance. After demonstrating what a HELIX DSP setup could achieve in our demo vehicle, he was sold.

We began with full 3-stage sound deadening throughout the vehicle to reduce road noise and unwanted rattles. Factory speakers were then replaced with:
• HELIX i3 8” mid bass drivers
• HELIX 3” mid ranges
• HELIX i5 tweeters
• Matching HELIX rear coaxials

Everything powered and digitally tuned through a MATCH UP 8DSP amplifier with full EQ, crossover setup and time alignment.

As no off-the-shelf integration loom existed, we custom built a plug-and-play harness from the factory Bose amplifier into the MATCH DSP system — allowing full reversibility in the future if required.

To complete the upgrade we installed a Kenwood DMX8021DABS bringing modern wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and upgraded multimedia functionality.

The end result? A phenomenal OEM+ SQ setup with incredible vocal clarity, controlled bass response and a true front sound stage experience.
